My baby loves going there because of the piano and toys! if u don’t mind i will bring some more to share. one minus- no permanent staff. students that don’t care much about time and don’t know how to value it yet. u guys need a faster service. bring the coffee take the order and then take ur time...

Had a great time , food was fantastic. However, it was a closed Birthday party for my nephew so do not know the normal menu. Friendly staff and located in a quaint shopping village on Lake Mohawk.

We were taken to visit the Lake House Cafe, in the charming village of Lake Mohawk, New Jersey by a local Joe for breakfast. We found it was run by the nicest people you would want to meet. We had to wait a little bit because we came when the place was busy but the courteous host came after a few minutes took our order and it came out in the time it takes if you were to make it on you own. We were inside for almost an hour just admiring the beautiful interior decor. The chef came out, her name was Alva, just as we were finishing our brunch to ask how everything was and if anything could be better. She told us that it was her goal and desire and that of the Lake House Cafe to provide the best food , service and courtesy that they can provide and she always wants to hear from her customer to meet that goal. We had a healthy breakfast, fresh coffee and in cafe baked muffins that we had on the road back home. All were fresh and tasty. We were extremely pleased and satisfied at every level and hope to stop by again. Thank you Lake House Cafe.

This cafe is very charming and even on a really busy day they don’t rush you out. The food is always good and the coffee is excellent! Sparta itself is a quaint town so to find a gem such as ‘The Cafe’ makes it all the more necessary for me to drive forty minutes away for brunch. The service is excellent and the staff members are very friendly and chipper, in particular Terry.
